The members of the Sugarloaf Key Volunteer Fire Dept. would like to express our sincere thanks to all of our friends and neighbors who helped to make our 44th annual Fish Fry Fundraiser a huge success. With your help we served almost 700 meals in the course of the day and grossed over $15,000. Small volunteer fire departments nationwide are under extreme stress in our changing country and without the enormous support shown to us by our community we would not be able to continue to function.

Only a special person can fill the boots of a volunteer firefighter. We need someone with courage
and dedication, who is not afraid of hard work and is willing to accept the challenge of a difficult
job. Lastly, we need someone with a desire to support their community.
